3. Those Jokes Were A Little Tactless

Until now, Paige has never really spoken out publicly about the fall-out of the unwanted publicity she has received over the last 12 months.

Now that she has, you really feel for her on a personal level. However well-supported she may have been by her employers, the online vitriol of which she was the unfortunate victim clearly took an emotional toll on her - and that's something you can't really joke around about.

In light of this, it now seems a little tactless that the Usos and The New Day saw fit to bring up the more salacious elements of her personal life in the aid of a cheap joke during their SmackDown rap battle a few months back (even if the target was Xavier Woods rather than Paige herself).

Given how protective the company's hierarchy - at least, Stephanie McMahon anyway - supposedly are of the 25-year-old, it's a little odd that something like this was allowed to make it to air. Perhaps one of the SmackDown writers didn't get the memo about treating the subject with kid gloves.
