10 Things We Learned From Shane McMahon On WWE’s After The Bell

It's easy to forget just how long Shane McMahon has been appearing on WWE television.
Granted, that sounds daft - Shane is Vince's kid, so of course he was going to slide smoothly into company life and learn the ropes as part of his birthright. Not so fast. Did you know that the old WWF roster would single Shane out because of who his father was? It's true, and McMahon told all on Corey Craves' occasionally-fun 'After The Bell' podcast.
There was an obvious upside to being the boss's son too. Shane got to sit in on meetings that other kids generally didn't care for, and he soaked in serious wisdom from some of the most creative people in pro wrestling history. That might explain why one of this year's most inventive matches was so outlandish.
Shane and Graves spent a ton of time talking about Raw Underground too. Why wouldn't they though? This is, for all intents and purposes, McMahon's baby on Monday nights, but there are currently no plans for him to get involved physically. He has something else in mind for the project beyond getting himself over.
