So, what's Shane's grand plan for Underground? Simply put, he wants to introduce fresh talent to the casual WWE audience. At the same time, McMahon loves the thought of dropping a few new guys on the creative team's doorstep and forcing them to sit up and take notice.
Dabba-Kato and Riddick Moss were two he specifically singled out as men who deserve better. Then, there are overlooked veterans like Titus O'Neil who have become bit-part players in the company system. Shane thinks Underground has a chance to put workers like that back on WWE's radar.
He says this isn't about getting himself over, but knows some won't believe that.
Again, Shane also loves the thought of showcasing different fighting styles that casual viewers might not have seen elsewhere. If that then turns those people onto something else they enjoy, then even better.
