10 Things We Learned From The Godfather On Stone Cold's Broken Skull Sessions Podcast

Charles Wright talks Papa Shango, The Godfather, WCW and...accidentally creating 'Biker' Taker?!

First nugget of info right off the bat: WWE's iconic backstage group BSK ('Bone Street Krew') was inspired by dominoes. No, not pizza - that's not a typo. Actual dominoes. As in, the game. Charles Wright, who's best-remembered as The Godfather, used to play that with The Undertaker, Yokozuna and others as a time killer on the road.

So, there you go.

Wright told Steve Austin this little gem during his appearance on 'Broken Skull Sessions'. No, the BSK's name doesn't have cool origins, but don't worry. Literally everything else Charles said was gripping stuff. He told stories about Papa Shango, 'Supreme Fighting Machine' KAMA, his time in Nation Of Domination, The Godfather gimmick and even Right To Censor.

Throughout, Steve couldn't resist opening up another bottle of Jack Daniels for a few motivational shots. The drink didn't exactly flow freely, but the stories sure did. Wright also opened up about his violent past, revealed why he turned down an offer from WCW and recalled changing 'Taker's life forever with some gentle ribbing.

Here's everything we learned from yet another winner of an episode that'll fit snugly into the Austin archives...

10. He Might Be Responsible For Biker ‘Taker

This is an insane thought.

Wright started teaming with Mark Calaway way back in the territory days. Together, pre-Undertaker, they were known as the 'Death Express' (which is a killer tag name). It didn't take long for the pair to gel, and they quickly became friends, but Charles couldn't resist ribbing his new buddy.

He told 'Taker that he was "too big and too white" not to listen to country music, get tattoos or ride motorcycles. Oh yes, it was Wright who first got the future 'American Bad Ass' into bikes, and he was also the one who poked and prodded 'Taker into getting that first piece of ink in Las Vegas.

Vince McMahon was hot about that, by the way, but that's not the big bombshell here. Nah, it's slightly bigger news that the bloody Godfather might've accidentally started 'Taker on the road towards his legendary 'Biker' character many years later.

Think about that for a second. It'll blow your mind.
