5. Vince Russo Is Still "Totally Entertained" By It
Last week's 'Dark Side Of The Ring' episode on New Jack was notable for glamourising extreme violence and Jim Cornette's horrified face when he sat down to watch some of Jack's matches. VICE are onto something here - these Gogglebox-esque segments show immediate reactions to the subject at hand.
They also, apparently, reveal that Vince Russo is still "totally entertained" by 'Brawl For All'.
"As a pure television viewer", the former WWF, WCW and TNA man said, "I'm totally entertained by this". That is rather worrying, and yet it does show that Russo is able to justify even his worst ideas internally. To his credit, Vinnie Ru did also relent that he feels bad watching the mayhem back, especially because of "everything we know about head trauma now".
Russo wouldn't propose something like 'Brawl For All' again in the current climate, and he's pretty sorry that nobody really thought about the long-term health ramifications, concussions or any other lasting damage from each fight.
