9. A New Season Of Breaking Ground

WWE have produced a lot of acclaimed original content for the Network, and Breaking Ground ranks among the most popular. The show presented an intimate behind the scenes look at NXT’s inner machinations, but it’s first (and only) season ended in January, and there’s only been a single June episode since.

Breaking Ground didn’t just provide a window into the WWE Performance Center and how it works, but a chance to really get to know NXT’s performers. From rookie wrestlers like Aliyah and Tino Sabbatelli (who hadn’t debuted at the time) to established workers like Dana Brooke and Bayley, everyone came-off as immensely likeable. It was hard not to be immediately invested in these characters after watching Breaking Ground, and it remains the most intriguing reality-based show WWE have ever produced.

A reboot could work wonders for wrestlers like Sawyer Fulton, Alexander Wolfe, and Liv Morgan, who are only just shooting to prominence in NXT. NXT’s roster is vastly different to what it was during the first season, and with a whole new cast of characters, Breaking Ground season two wouldn’t be short of material.
