10 Things WWE Must Do At Starrcade 2017
Take us back to the good old days...
WWE's announcement that the mighty Starrcade is returning next month will be met with squeals of delight from older wrestling fans who remember the event's glory days in the NWA/WCW. Make no mistake, Starrcade 2017 is for those long time fans more than those who have only started watching WWE in the past few years.
If WWE play their cards right, 25 November could be a love letter to those who recall names like Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, and Sting during the prime years of their careers. The Greensboro Coliseum is also a fine choice of venue. Having hosted much of the first four Starrcade events (1985's event was co-hosted at The Omni in Atlanta), the North Carolina setting is perfect.
You have a choice here, WWE. Either you use the Starrcade name and nothing more, or you turn the 2017 version into a nostalgia-fuelled night of magic. Looking at the card suggests the latter, but there's so much more WWE must do in order to make Starrcade circa 2K17 a winner for old and new fans alike...
