The wedding of "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth was named "A Match Made In Heaven" and it aired during the SummerSlam 1991 broadcast. At the time, Savage was retired after losing a Career Match to the Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania 7 earlier in the year. What WWE wants us to forget about that wedding is that Savage (real name Randy Poffo) was already married to Elizabeth Hulette. In fact, they were married on December 30, 1984 and he's the one that brought her to WWE as his manager. They used the wedding as a way to make Savage more of a babyface after his retirement. During their wedding reception ceremony, Jake Roberts & The Undertaker showed up to torment them. When they opened one of the gifts, one of Jake's snakes was inside it and they freaked it. It led to Savage returning to the returning to get revenge on Roberts. The couple ended up divorcing a few years after this and then they were reunited on screen in WCW in the mid-1990s.
