10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Braun Strowman
He has plenty of brawn, and he's a former Strongman - what shall we call him?
Braun Strowman has been in the wars lately.
On Sunday, The Monster Among Men was cruelly thrown in the back of ambulance, which was then deliberately backed up into a stationary production truck, and worst still, nobody seems to be interested in bringing his attacker to justice.
But Braun is a trooper - you can tell from his special camo pants, which he got for his birthday last year - and what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
Actually, pretty much everything seems to make Braun stronger: from beating four Local Competitors™ at the same time to ripping up Chris Jericho's scarf, the 33-year-old continues to rise up the WWE food chain.
It's surely only a matter of time before he gets his hands on the company's biggest prize - even if plans for a SummerSlam confrontation with Brock Lesnar appear, disappointingly, to have been put on ice.
As always, though, there are one or two things that WWE would rather we didn't remember about their new star - and we're here to make sure you don't forget about them.
10. He Was Nearly Braun Stowman
Who knew that one little letter could make so much difference?
When he first signed with WWE back in 2013, then-29-year-old Adam Scherr was originally assigned he name Braun Stowman, a title he went under as he made his first steps in professional wrestling in a series of dark matches whilst he was still on a developmental deal.
They only added the extra "r" on the eve of his main roster debut, when he was called up to play the Wyatt Family's newest member.
In retrospect, it seems strange that they would have contemplated calling him anything else. He has brawn, and he's a former strongman competitor - it just sounds right, and Stowman just sounds wrong.
