7. That Time She Found James Ellsworth "Uniquely Attractive"
James Ellsworth was there to act as a Vanilla Ice wannabe freakshow with no chin that Carmella could use to win matches, get some heat and treat like dirt, right? Sort of, but that's not the full story. There was a time, when the pair first hooked up on screen, that it looked like they might be romantically linked.
Score one for Jimmy.
During several promos, Carmella described Ellsworth as "uniquely attractive", and claimed he had a certain charm to him that other men lacked. It was as weird as you think, and became even more so when WWE continued such madness for a good few months. Apparently, 'Mella had the hots for the guy.
WWE eventually phased this plot point out and had Carmella use James as a verbal speedbag instead. The compliments dried up, but not before she'd given him a makeover, called him "cute" and flirted like she was auditioning for an American Pie flick.
