At just 23, Paige is one of the youngest members of the WWE roster, and you'd therefore think her record would be pretty clean - for the simple reason that she hasn't had very long to get into trouble. However, the Brit has found herself into numerous scrapes over the course of her five year WWE career (including her initial runs in FCW and NXT), as well as a few notable incidents from her extensive work on the independent scene. Although WWE have positioned her as the biggest heel diva on the roster currently, they'd certainly prefer us to forget her numerous off-camera scrapes. Having made her debut at the shockingly young age of 13 (for family business World Association of Wrestling), it's unsurprising that Paige seems to have a streetwise, no-crap-taking attitude. She's certainly been around the block a few times, and many of these moments arose from situations where others would have backed down. On the other hand, sometimes its more appropriate to point the finger at WWE themselves for saddling Paige with poor booking or an uncomfortable angle...
10. Slapping A Fan In The Face
Let's start off with a straightforward one. In a relatively sterilised WWE era, where interactions with the crowd are limited to rehearsed entrance antics, spur-of-the-moment heel arguments with fans seem a relic of the past. It therefore makes sense that WWE would be keen for us to forget an incident of Paige straight-up slapping a guy in the front row of an indie show. It's no half-hearted attempt, either. As the above video demonstrates, Paige rears back and slaps the smarkiness out of his mouth. Theories about the actual reason for her attack are few and far between, but the most common seems to be that the fan asked for it. That's not a figure of speech; apparently he literally asked the future WWE superstar to slap him. Whatever makes you happy, I guess...
