If there was ever one rivalry that encapsulated WWFs low opinion of WCW and its wrestlers, it was this one. Vince basically had the Undertaker destroy Diamond Dallas Page on every occasion, and even had his wife pin the legendary WCW wrestler. Add to this stories about the Undertaker being hostile to WCW in general (stemming from him being Vinces most loyal employee), as well as some stories about Taker wanting to bury DDP for telling him what to do in matches, and you have a black mark on the Undertakers otherwise prestigious reputation in WWE. A secondary myth that WWE likes to perpetuate with Undertaker is that he helps build the stars of tomorrow, and has he has the utmost respect for everyone in the wrestling business. Yet, this storyline shatters that perception. DDP couldve had a successful run in WWE, but unfortunately he was stuck in one of the most one-sided and embarrassing storylines of the entire Invasion period. Because this storyline goes against that positive of the Undertaker and his WWE career, those at the top want you to forget about it.
