10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About WrestleMania 29

10. The Big Show Turned Again

Heading into WrestleMania 29, The Shield was just beginning to build a legacy as one of the most dominant factions of all time. Though they'd only competed in a handful of matches, they'd manhandled some of the top names in the company. At the show of shows, the trio were booked in another such contest - a six-man tag against Sheamus, Randy Orton, and The Big Show. The bout was an exciting opener, though not quite as wild as some of The Shield's previous bouts. Orton, Sheamus, and Show, who had been at odds with each other, were forced to put their differences aside for ten minutes but they still weren't able to overcome the cohesiveness of Roman, Dean and Seth. In the end, Ambrose pinned The Viper after a Spear from Reigns. What came after the match, though, was more of WWE's usual, uninspired business. Angry at his partners after the loss, Show KO'd both Sheamus and Orton with his mighty fist, then walked out. The result was an Orton/Big Show program that nobody asked to see, and an entirely predictable WrestleMania moment.
