Few wrestlers on WWE's roster have struggled as much as Fandango has in recent years. The company has tried to give him a few halfhearted storylines and the occasional mini makeover, but they've pulled back on their attempts to salvage him just as quickly and the talented performer has been left in limbo. When Fandango first burst on the scene three years ago, though, he looked to be in for a major push. WWE held his debut off until WrestleMania, where he took on the legendary Chris Jericho - a program Jericho only would have agreed to if he too believed in Fandango's talent and potential. The NXT season four winner scored a clean victory over Y2J, signalling the start of bright career for the youngster. The following night on Raw, fans hijacked the show by singing Fandango's theme song at every opportunity. That would, unfortunately, prove to be the high point of his career to this point. The next month, Fandango inexplicably lost a rematch to Jericho, and after missing a few weeks of action due to a concussion in June, he lost his push completely. Three years later, Fandango's win over Jericho is little more than a curious footnote.
