10. Her Family Are Huge On Amateur Wrestling
Massaro's surname means a great deal to the world of amateur wrestling in the area of New York she grew up in. Her father, uncle and brother all competed in the sport and had some success locally. They were both over the moon for Ashley when she signed that first WWE contract in 2005 after winning the Diva Search.
Understandably so.
Ashley was never bitten by the amateur bug though. She was more into the pro stuff, and talked in several interviews about one day following in the foot steps of her hero Trish Stratus. The cool thing there is that Massaro got to team with Trish on several occasions in WWE.
Her Instagram page also has several happy photos with her bro, and it seems the family had a close bond. There's no word on whether or not her sibling is still competing.
