3. Bret Hart Claims An Untelevised Match Among One Of His All-Time Best
No doubt one of Hart's favorite opponents to work with was "Mr. Perfect", Curt Hennig. Between 1989 and 1993, the two took part in some tremendous singles matches on both pay-per-view and locally-televised arena shows in New York and Toronto. As two of the elite technicians of their era, as well as all time, you'd expect Hart and Perfect to produce sheer magic with each other. On August 12, 1989, Hart went to a time-limit draw with Perfect at a house show in Anchorage, AK, before a crowd of close to 8,000 people. No footage of the match exists. Hart, and Perfect for that matter, have each stated that it was one of the best matches in each of their careers, if not the best.
