8. Was First Man To Be In Both DX And The nWo

Given that both Shawn Michaels and Triple H are the ones most-credited for the early months of D-Generation X, a lot of people forget that Rick Rude was a founding member. He was installed as an 'insurance policy' for the renegade group from the outset. Michaels and Triple H were largely juvenile, which contrasted with the stoic nature of Rude. During this time, the guy didn't actually have a set contract with the company, instead being paid per appearance. Shortly after the Survivor Series 1997, he jumped over to WCW, where he became a member of the New World Order. This made Rude the first to be a part of both legendary groups. Sean 'X-Pac' Waltman would later join Rude in this achievement, upon signing with the WWF in early-1998. Much like with DX, the 'Ravishing One' was somewhat of an ill-fit for the nWo. He wasn't a wrestler, and instead acted as a manager and mouthpiece, but he arguably didn't have a cool vibe which suited either stable.
