9. Worked Security For U2's Bono

The Celtic Warrior is a physically imposing specimen, so it is no wonder he found early success in his professional life as a bodyguard for Bono, lead singer of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees U2. Prior to stepping foot inside the squared circle, the hard-hitting Irishman protected his fellow countrymen from overzealous fans and paparazzi. He spoke of his experience working with, and around, the rock legend with Ed Power of Independent.ie.
Bono would be in all the time. I'd be standing there, making sure nobody spiked his drink, or try to steal his pint. It was a handy way to make a bit of wedge.
While the gig may not have been a long-lasting one, it allowed Sheamus the opportunity to get his foot in the door of the entertainment business. It was a vital step for The Celtic Warrior and instrumental in his career development.
