At heart, Stevie Richards has a lot of in common with any number of other pro wrestling fans out there. Sure, he loves to watch grappling, but the man also has another hobby, videogames. It must have been difficult to make time for this when on the road all the time, but Richards has remarked that he enjoyed nothing more than some down time with his games when coming home. Also citing a love for comic books and movies, Stevie Richards has name-checked the Fire Pro Wrestling series as his favourite games, feeling they're more successful in replicating the nuances and back-and-forth nature of an actual wrestling match than any of the WWE games. Fire Pro Wrestling Returns, released on the PS2, has long been lauded as one of the greatest wrestling titles ever - the graphics may not be up to par with the latest WWE release, but the gameplay is a pure joy, something Richards agrees wholeheartedly with. It's interesting to hear someone who has actually worked matches speak highly of the way the developers program a wrestling videogame.
