4. The Bella Twins Channel Their Inner Four Horsemen
It was apparent during the Divas tag team match pitting Paige and AJ Lee against the Bella Twins that Brie and Nikki had been watching footage on the WWE Network as they pulled out numerous moves made famous by members of the legendary, Hall of Fame faction The Four Horsemen. The devious duo repeatedly knocked AJ off the ring apron in a nice ode to heel teams everywhere but borrowing from Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard proved to even their harshest critics that the stars of "Total Divas" continue to learn, to adapt and grow as performers with every passing in-ring performance. While you were grabbing more popcorn, flipping over to "The Walking Dead" season finale or taking a piss, Nikki Bella was breaking out Anderson's trademark spinebuster. While you were refilling your chilled mug with Captain Morgan, the twins dug into wrestling history and delivered a slingshot suplex made famous by the aforementioned Blanchard. Though they wound up losing the match, the oft-criticized team has proven numerous times that they are more than pretty faces devoted to putting over their venture into reality television. Both, especially Nikki, have shown clear devotion to their work, working extremely hard to improve perception of them.
