10. The Stale Babyface Becomes The Villainous Hollywood Hogan

In the early 1990s, Hulk Hogan’s All-American, wholesome, over-the-top persona was played out and fans were getting tired of the same old shtick show after show.
Hogan’s 1994 arrival in WCW saw an initially strong reaction for the Hulkster, but this response would soon begin to wane and Hulk would again become stale and struggle to garner the reactions of the likes of Randy Savage and Sting.
It looked as if the glory days of Hogan’s time at the top of the industry were numbered, but the arrival of Kevin Nash and Scott Hall in the company gave Hulk the perfect opportunity to freshen his character up as he aligned with these new additions, formed the nWo, and became the dastardly Hollywood Hogan in a move which prolonged Hogan’s days at the top and gave him a new lease of life as a performer.
