There are some matches which have been done to death in WWE, such as John Cena vs. Randy Orton, Wade Barrett vs. Sheamus and even another one involving the former 'Legend Killer', Triple H vs. Randy Orton. Whilst the bouts are enjoyable any time these combinations step foot inside the ring, there's really only so many times fans can be expected to sit through the same spots and transitions without wondering why. The No Mercy 2007 Pay-Per-View was a strange one, as Triple H competed on three separate occasions. First, he actually beat Orton in a straight up one-on-one match to win the vacated WWE Title, before then fending off Umaga. Vince McMahon would try and stick it to 'The Game' forcing him to defend the belt against Orton in the main event, this time under Last Man Standing Match rules. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x48hci_no-mercy-2007-champion-triple-h-vs_news Even though Triple H had been in 3 different matches, this is still considered a 'clean' win for Orton, who won the Last Man Standing match via his own means.
