10 Times WWE Blew Their One Big Shot

2. The Shield Vs The Club

Though WWE had enough years where they were blessed with all three members of The Shield along with original Bullet Club leader Finn Bálor, his replacement in the group AJ Styles and stablemates Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, the company never managed to...ahem...pull the trigger on a match or longterm story between the two iconic groups.

The GoodBrothers were at saddled up to both Styles and Bálor at various points and Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns were rarely separated by brands, and the opportunity for a series of potential dream bangers (not to mention the Anderson singles matches with 'The Hounds Of Justice') were lost to reddit threads and custom photoshops.

And it didn't go without a tease. A Tribute To The Troops 2016 special brought all the brands together, allowing for the moment in which the above trios argued their dominance in a manner that popped the f*ck out of the live crowd. Never say never in wrestling, but in surverying the key players, this one feels as good as gone.
