What The Main Event Should Have Been: Team WWE vs. Team Nexus

That last statement likely made absolutely no sense. While the two teams should have had their big battle at SummerSlam, a few of the participants should have been switched out. This was the night that Daniel Bryan made his triumphant return to the company after being fired for choking Justin Roberts with his own tie. It was an exciting moment, but Bryan joined the wrong side.

The Nexus was already in rough shape at that point. The company made them look weak more often than they should have, and could have used Bryan back to bolster their numbers and give them more credibility. Instead he joined team WWE, and made Darren Young submit in :42 seconds. Pre-match they should have substituted Tarver or Young for Bryan, and it likely goes without saying that The Nexus should have won.

Also, at this time WWE had this weird quirk of making us believe Bret Hart could still wrestle, so he was put in the match. He should have been switched out for someone capable of taking a bump, like, for example, literally any other wrestler on the roster.
