7. Snitsky Causes Lita's Miscarriage

Would Gene Snitsky ever have become a bona fide main event player? Who knows. But in the land of WWE, his 6'8" frame and hulking 300 lbs physique certainly marked him out as someone who Vince McMahon could well use at the top of the card.

For Snitsky, his cards were marked from the very moment he made his main roster debut on a September 2004 edition of Raw.

Facing Kane in a No DQ bout, Snitsky would cause his opponent to fall on Lita, in turn causing Lita to miscarry her and the Big Red Machine's unborn baby. If you weren't watching WWE at that point in time, consider yourself lucky.

This alone was distasteful enough to cause irreparable damage to the Snitsky character, but things only got worse for the former 'Mean' Gene Mondo from here on out. WWE being WWE, they spun this miscarriage angle into a new catchphrase for Snitsky - "It's not my fault!" - and had him boot plastic babies around arenas.

It was classless, it was clueless and it was outright offensive. And for Gene Snitsky, he had been dealt a hand that few wrestlers - if any - would've been able to overcome.

When considering the baffling start Snitsky had in WWE, one can almost consider his foot fetish gimmick as a genuine career highlight.
