10. Edge & Christian Being Brothers

When Edge and Christian first came into our lives as a pair of darkly dogsbodies for Gangrel in the late-90s, they were supposed to be brothers.

They weren't real-life brothers like the Hardys (or, err, the Dudleys) but it made a lot of sense. They're roughly the same age - Edge being about a month older - they're both from Canada and, if you squint a little, they look pretty similar too (especially before Christian went short back and sides in '03).

That back-story was forgotten about at some point following their split in the early 2000s, though. Edge became a crowd favourite, teaming up with Rey Mysterio, whilst Christian found new friends in the short-lived Un-Americans stable. It was as though they were never related at all.
