10 UFC Fighters Who Had Perfect Performances Inside The Octagon

10. Demetrious Johnson Vs. Ray Borg - UFC 216

Although former UFC flyweight champion, Demetrious Johnson, never quite got the credit he deserved while fighting for the promotion, he did produce some incredible performances in the 125lb weight class while he was there.

If there's one thing that Johnson was good at, it was proving how far ahead of his peers he was. Whatever their biggest strength was, he would go out of his way to beat them there, which is exactly what happened to Ray Borg. Anyone who had seen Borg fight knew that he not only specialised in creating scrambles, he excelled in latching onto submissions from the scrambles he started.

It's a great, yet undervalued skill that Borg was able to use against a lot of flyweights, but Johnson's ability to adapt to his surroundings and stay two steps ahead of his opponents left Borg flummoxed, frustrated and desperate throughout their fight.

After effortlessly outstriking and out-grappling his opponent for five rounds, in typical Mighty Mouse fashion, he finished the bout with a one-of-a-kind back suplex to armbar finish that put an exclamation mark on this world class performance.
