It feels a tad offensive to label Francis Ngannou as the UFC Heavyweight division's best kept secret because at this point, what more does he need to do to bully himself back into the title picture?

After falling to current champ Stipe Miocic at UFC 220 and Derrick Lewis at UFC 226, Ngannou has systematically bullied the likes of Curtis Blaydes, Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos... in an accumulative time of just two minutes and 22 seconds! Before his unfortunate two fight losing streak, he also managed to completely murder UFC legend Alistair Overeem and Andrei Arlovski in the first round.

It's just irritating that we currently live in an MMA landscape where promoters are more interested in creating super-fights than actual legitimate top contender vs. champion bouts.

However, there is still hope.

If Jon Jones does decide to chicken out and not target the Heavyweight gold - after Miocic vs. Daniel Cormier 2 goes down - then whoever wins that epic blow-off fight will need an immediate challenger. Is there anyone in that division currently more deserving than 'The Predator'?
