4. Edge Defeats Mick Foley (WrestleMania 22)

Best-known for a spectacularly dramatic spot involving a flaming table, Edge's battle against Mick Foley at WrestleMania 22 helped make the 'Rated-R Superstar' as a main event level talent. Admittedly, even if the Canadian star hadn't fought Foley at 'Mania, he still would have made it to the top, but it certainly didn't hurt (although that table spot likely did!). In all honesty, Edge winning was the only satisfactory outcome to this one - by 2006, Mick Foley didn't really need wins for fans to be into what he was doing. It was more about the chase than the actual result for the former World Champion by this point. As for Edge, this win helped make him, in a similar fashion to how wins against Foley would help cement Triple H at the top of the card in the year 2000. It's a testament to how well worked this match was that it went on less than an hour after the Money In The Bank Ladder Match, yet the stunts never once felt out of place or contrived.
