10 Ups & 0 Downs From AEW Dynamite (25 Jan - Review)
Ups…
10. Le Sex Gods Bring The Goods Again
Anybody who's watched AEW long enough to see the reality of the outcome should possibly approach a permanent arrangement of Sammy Guevara and Chris Jericho taking on The Acclaimed with caution, but the argument for them to one day hold tag gold was strengthened by a strong opener against Ricky Starks and Action Andretti.
The strongest outing from this undercooked - and at times unpleasant - programme, Jericho and Guevara yet again brought out the best in each other and their opponents, even if this served as Andretti's first defeat on the AEW roster.
A super slick good guys Vs bad guys affair, Le Sex Gods needled Daniel Garcia with their tights choice before needing him by the end, hiding the far superior story in this less-than-dynamic one. Starks hitting Rochambo on Jericho on the outside was yet more proof he can comfortably beat him on his own, and Andretti showed the most here since his impressive debut. The feud may be awkwardly stumbling along, but this match literally and figuratively did the total opposite.
