It was a fresh lick of paint for AEW Dynamite last night, as Tony Khan took his promotion away from the increasingly untenable Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida to a top-secret spot somewhere else in the southeastern United States. It was a move necessitated by state guidance, but one that benefitted the show regardless.

Sammy Guevara and Shawn Spears vs. Cody and Darby Allin and Trent vs. Kenny Omega were the only matches with fully-announced participants to be advertised ahead of time. Also on the docket were squashes featuring Lance Archer, Hikaru Shida, and The Natural Nightmares, making for a potentially fun, balanced night of action - though it wasn't all smooth sailing on Dynamite.

Elsewhere, we caught up with Chris Jericho from his palatial estate, Le Palais du le Champion, as the 49-year-old sought once again to break the internet. Jon Moxley's latest challenger was confirmed, the Vince McMahon barbs continued, and The Young Bucks checked in from California.

These empty arena shows are becoming harder and harder to produce. Like WWE before them, AEW is loading up on footage while they can, readying themselves for what feels like an inevitable lockdown. A break is likely coming. For now, let's just enjoy these fresh episodes while we can...
