10 Ups & 2 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (Nov 20)
9. Bonus Brutality
Hacked to bits by the commercial break it may have been, but Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley's unexpected mini-dream matched yielded more than just the quality visual of two over stars unexpectedly going nose to nose.
Ripley's integrity has been shot to pieces by the destructive November company booking - her alignment with her WarGames and Survivor Series associates hasn't exactly kept a killer mystique in tact - but removed from the bullsh*t, her match with the Raw Women's Champion was reminder of the fire that clearly burns within her to be one of the very best.
The match didn't make it past ten minutes before an MMA Horsewomen brawl threw the whole thing out, but this was a f*ck finish without the final thrust - this will keep for another day, not least when it foreshadowed the madness still to come.
