It was all too easy to simply book great pro wrestlers against other great pro wrestlers in the hope that said great pro wrestlers would be better than the other company's great pro wrestlers. WWE, battle-worn and battle-ready, have begun to flex their muscles.

The relentless assault on the senses about the "limited commercial interruption" couldn't have made their position on next Wednesday's ratings showdown any clearer.

All Elite Wrestling have stacked their maiden edition of Dynamite, and will surely do well with curiosity views as a result, but less adverts on USA may well convince channel-hoppers to stay put. This was a huge, huge swing.
