4. NJPW World’s Brief Collapse
It wasn't a major disruption, but NJPW World briefly sh*t the bed on Sunday morning.
The first problem arose as fans were gearing up for the main card. New Japan's streaming service died sometime between the pre-show and Wrestle Kingdom proper, sparking anxious twitches amongst the horde of viewers attempting to tune in as things were getting started. This resulted in a delay of only a few minutes, but it happened again shortly after Jushin Liger's second retirement bout, with the entire service collapsing for a good 5-10 minutes before recovering.
This would've been a lot worse had it happened during one of the evening's biggest matches, but it was still an issue. Granted, the servers were coping with increased volumes of traffic, but NJPW must have known this was coming, and it's disappointing that we're still experiencing interruptions like this in 2020.
