8. Ricochet, Black Come Up Empty
Seriously, what the hell WWE?
The dynamic duo of Ricochet & Aleister Black have been on a rocket to the top of WWE’s tag team division during the past couple months, and they seemed slated to reach the top Sunday night at WrestleMania.
Only, they didn’t.
The duo didn’t lose per se, but the Usos retained their SmackDown Tag Team Championship by pinning Sheamus to finish a chaotic fatal four-way tag match. It just felt deflating, as the Usos are great, but probably would have benefited from a change of scenery, while Ricochet & Black were poised to cap the weekend with a win.
Instead, the duo has now lost three tag title matches in one week (Raw by countout, NXT by pinfall, and SmackDown via Sheamus being pinned). Just very bizarre booking that hopefully will make sense sometime in the near future.
Hmmm, maybe tomorrow on Raw?
