4. Black, Cesaro Slug It Out

Sometimes, a good, old-fashioned slugfest is what you need on PPV.

We got a pretty good battle between Cesaro and Aleister Black, a match with minimal setup: Black wanted someone to challenge him to a fight, and the Swiss Superman obliged. The two had a hard-hitting, stiff match, with Black’s kicks, knees and strikes competing against Cesaro’s European Uppercuts and feats of strength.

At one point, Black went for a second meteora off the ropes, only for Cesaro to catch him on his shoulders, toss him up in the air and nail a European Uppercut for a 2 count. Then, Cesaro went for a second springboard EU, only for Black to counter with a jumping knee.

But in the midst of a flurry of strikes, Aleister nailed Black Mass for the win. What they do with both men next is anyone’s guess, but we’ll give this positive marks on the sheer strength of the match itself.
