6. Return Of The French Kiss
Of course, Zack Ryders loss was the Mizs gain. And part of the Mizs gain was our gain as well, as his wife Maryse made her first return to a WWE ring in nearly five years. If you follow the former Divas Champion on Instagram, then you know that shes just as lovely as ever, so you couldnt be entirely surprised if she came back at some point.
Maryse got involved in the Intercontinental Championship match by slapping Zack Ryders dad moments after he shoved the Miz to the ground. The slap provided enough of a distraction for Miz to hit the Skull-Crushing Finale on Ryder and win his fifth IC title. Maryse then got in the ring and celebrated with her husband.
This moment gets high marks for two reasons: 1) Its always an up to see Maryse on WWE TV, and 2) If Maryse is going to start serving as Mizs valet, it could be a serious way to make him into a bigger heel. Maryse has a good amount of charisma and can rile up the fans, which will only serve Miz well.
If this was a one-time deal, then thats disappointing.
