10 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (April 5)

2. A Potent Main Event

When you throw Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, AJ Styles and Cesaro into a ring and give them 15-plus minutes to perform, odds are that you€™re going to get a really good result. And that€™s exactly what we got Monday night, as the foursome tore down the house.

Action was fast and furious with everyone hitting high-impact moves one after another, as things seemed to flow nicely in segments. Cesaro€™s uppercut train and Cesaro Swing were hugely popular, as were KO€™s and AJ€™s offenses. Jericho held things together nicely on his part as well. There were so many false finishes, and you could make a legit argument for three of the four to win the match (only Owens really had a natural opponent to fall back on, having assaulted Sami Zayn 20 minutes earlier).

Given a loud, supportive crowd, the wrestlers rose to the occasion well, giving them plenty to follow intently and cheer. It was the kind of main event you hope to see every week, and hopefully with some new blood in the mix, we€™ll get more of this.
