One of the main attractions of the WWE Network when it launched was the archived footage that would be available, including every PPV ever produced by WWF/WWE, WCW and ECW. The catalogue is very impressive for these events, but WWE could still improve the Network by adding other, older archive content. Shows like Prime Time Wrestling exist on the Network but have not been updated in over a year. The show ran from 1985 until 1993 but the Network only contains episodes up through March of 1987. Other former major shows like Wrestling Challenge, Superstars Of Wrestling/WWF Superstars, and All-American Wrestling remain missing entirely. These programs ran for the better part of a decade so there would be no shortage of content to release had the WWE decided to slowly stagger these releases out, like they did with the old Monday Night RAWs. In addition to those former major programs, annual shows like the Survivor Series Showdowns, SummerSlam Spectaculars, or March To WrestleMania could be uploaded as well as weekly programs such as LiveWire, Shotgun Saturday Night, or WWF Mania. The former would have a big impact in another innovative feature that will be discussed shortly. While it has been said on several quarterly earnings calls that the classic footage is not among the popular programs, that doesn't mean they should be forgotten altogether. The WWE Network should not forsake their older fans by ignoring these shows, as it only adds to the Network's reputation and value and it likely takes minimal effort to upload them since they have already been digitzed.
