The Network launch should have been surrounded with positives ... instead we have fans booing the likes of Cena, Batista and Hogan. A string of terrible PPV endings have people mad at the company, Daniel Bryan remains overlooked and CM Punk has gone home. The Network is launching in a volatile environment with PPV distributors already rejecting the WWE. We all expected a few hiccups with the Network, but the amount of negative situations revolving around the Network is staggering. The WWE and Vince McMahon specifically has been known for undertaking several new business ventures that simply do not work. The XFL is the biggest example, lasting only one year which was met with much negative critique. WWE New York and the WBF also failed to generate huge business and there eventually close. How do they make sure the Network doesn't succumb to this same ending? The Network itself is an amazing idea. With the increasing popularity of Netflix, this type of streaming system is basically a must for any and all wrestling fans. It isn't so much that idea that was fumbled, it was the process of bringing it to the fans that was. We just have to hope the kinks and issues are worked out before the idea goes away forever.
