As much as everything changes, it's the legends who stay the same. In 1985, Dusty Rhodes was not just a superstar NWA wrestler. He was also a behind-the-scenes creative force who had a major hand in cultivating breakout and mainstream breakthrough success for performers including the Four Horsemen, Magnum T.A., The Rock n' Roll Express, Nikita Koloff and more. In 2015, Dusty Rhodes passed away, but his indelible fingerprints are all over NXT talents like Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Paige, Bray Wyatt and others who benefited from Dusty successfully waving the magic wand over their careers while down in Florida. In moving from being Vince McMahon's competition to being an asset to his business though, Dusty's legacy also now extends into WWE's future success.
