Given what had happened the previous year, and the fact this was his return to the big stage after a career threatening injury, to see Bryan being unceremoniously dumped out the match with a whimper left a bitter taste in the mouth. This isn't a clamour for Bryan to have won the match outright, but Vince McMahon claims he listens to the fans and gives them exactly what they want, something he didn't deliver here. He obviously missed the 2014 Rumble then. Disastrous booking all round.
