5. El Ligero Lasted The Longest During The Kurt Angle Invitational

Oli Sandler/The Ringside Perspective

A former Internet Champion and one of the most competitive men to grace a WCPW ring, the high-flying El Ligero is one of the most popular with fans due to his work ethic and clear affinity for sportsmanship.

Flying in the face of those who suggest that only the dirtiest fighters will survive in the Championship Rumble, the 'Mexican Sensation' outlasted everyone else in the Kurt Angle Invitational by almost 10 full minutes last year; clocking in at an amazing 31:06, Ligero was finally eliminated by Ethan Carter III.

To put that into perspective, EC3 didn't enter the match until #13, and the next man behind Ligero on the clock was Joe Coffey at 22:12.

This experience should stand El Ligero well if he's involved in the Championship Rumble, because nobody else in WCPW thus far has shown such supreme conditioning. Ligero's achievement becomes even more brilliant when considering his smaller stature, and the fact that hulking beasts like Drew Galloway and Rampage were also in the match.
