10 Weirdest Wrestling Weapons You Won't Believe

4. Electric Light Tubes!

Once fluorescent light tubes have expired, they can still be useful as weapons. It isn€™t just the guys from The 40-Year-Old Virgin that employ them in this capacity, either. Hardcore specialists such as Necro Butcher have made these elongated lightbulbs staples of bloodletting indie bouts. In the €˜crimson age€™ of hardore wrestling, companies like CZW thrived on using these ridiculous weapons as cheap, but impressive, in-ring props. Butcher, more than any other, is the undisputed champion of using these bizarre foreign objects. In 2006, he participated in a 4-way €˜200 Lightube Deathmatch€™ alongside indy mental cases Drake Younger, Insane Lane and Corporal Robinson. All four sides of the ring were covered with light tubes. It€™s the most glass smashing you€™ll ever hear in a wrestling match, outside of a Stone Cold showreel, that is. For our part, we hadn€™t seen that much shattered glass since the third act of Police Story. The quality of wrestling is utterly horrendous, but this match needs to be seen at least once, if only for the novelty factor.
