10 Weirdest WWE Cameos By Wrestlers Before They Were Famous
10. DDP - Cadillac Driver
When you think of Diamond Dallas Page, it's easy to picture WCW titles, Diamond Cutters, and hand signals. One image that doesn't immediately spring to mind, is that of Dallas driving a pink Cadillac. Nevertheless, that's exactly what Page did at WrestleMania VI.
As chauffeur for Rhythm & Blues, Page was tasked with driving Honky Tonk Man, Greg Valentine, and Jimmy Hart to the ring for the debut of their new song, "Honka Honka Honka Honky Love". The rendition was soon interrupted by The Bushwhackers, one of whom was coincidentally the very person that recommended Dallas for the role of driver in the first place.
At the time, Page was running a bar in Fort Myers, Florida named Norma Jeans, which became a nightlife hotspot in the area and a regular hangout for wrestlers during the late 1980s. Critically, it also had a pink Caddy parked outside.
The future WCW Champ had also been managing in the AWA since '88, all of which gave him several in roads to the WWF. When Vince McMahon needed a a classic car for WrestleMania in 1990, Bushwhacker Luke was quick to suggest Dallas - and his Cadillac - for the part. Page even drove the car all the way from Florida to Toronto for the event.
