10 Wild Outside Bets To Win WWE Royal Rumble 2020
10. Brock Lesnar
This can't happen...can it?
As of last night's Monday Night RAW, Brock Lesnar announced himself for the Royal Rumble - in the number one slot - as WWE Heavyweight Champion. This is in character, but it also isn't. This development is consistent with his arrogance, but why would the mercenary willingly, unnecessarily work a longer match? There's no way he's going an hour in Tampa, unless, of course, Triple H once more distorts the space/time continuum by going "24 minutes".
The ramifications weren't fully explained - is he gunning for the Universal Championship? - but it's an intriguing hook to the match that should, if handled correctly, make for an epic showdown/elimination moment as a means of setting up his WrestleMania 36 opponent.
"If handled correctly."
Well.
Knowing WWE, this will likely manifest as a series of eliminations designed expressly to piss off your hardcore sensibilities, as Shorty G, Andrade, and Cesaro are German suplex'd over the top rope and into oblivion.
Enter Cain Velasquez to save the day, and build towards a rubber match to settle the two bouts that wrestling fans didn't watch/forgot even happened.
