10 Winning Ideas WWE Should Recycle

5. Annual WWE Draft

If there was one real positive to the now-discarded Brand Extension, it was the annual WWE Draft. Both Raw and Smackdown had different rosters, with wrestlers rarely crossing over onto the other program. The idea was simple, if fans wanted to watch Triple H, they'd tune into Raw, but if they wanted to see what The Rock was up to, Smackdown was the only place to go. The splitting of shows into brands did seem a little tired towards the end, but it's perhaps ripe for a comeback. Even after the relaunch at the turn of the year, Smackdown still seems like a repeat of Raw most weeks, so it desperately needs something that can kick start things again. If WWE are serious about John Cena not being as heavily featured as he once was, why not place him exclusively on Smackdown? The guy could still be a huge draw, but could take up the mantle held by The Undertaker for many years - 'Taker wasn't on TV every week, but made Smackdown seem like a bigger deal when he did show up.
