There comes a certain embarrassment with admitting you were old enough to recall the excitement surrounding the then-WWF's Summerslam 1992. Then, all of a sudden, that's all washed away when younger fans look in awe and wonder exactly when WWE will take the plunge and hold such a major event in the UK again. Held in the old Wembley Stadium, Summerslam '92 was a fully-fledged Pay-Per-View on British soil. It was unheard of, and due to the lack of internet and spoilers at the time, entirely possible. Nowadays, WWE aren't so hot on the idea, citing the time difference issue. With the WWE Network, it's not as big a problem as it once was. Sure, a lot of fans would probably hear results before watching the show, but that happens even with bigger events in the US, where more and more people are choosing to watch WWE PPV's on demand rather than live. Imagine how cool it would be if WWE elected to hold the Royal Rumble or Survivor Series in the UK?
