3. The Brood Break Their Silence... Unfortunately

On the pilot episode of WWE SmackDown, some months after making their blood-soaked albeit entirely taciturn debut, The Brood trio of Gangrel, Christian and Edge finally broke their silence. The coven's leader was the first to pipe up, noting that they "initially had not spoken by [their] own choice." It soon became obvious why, given how the promo subsequently went.

Gangrel continued in a meek monotone, gently and unconvincingly dissing Ministry man The Undertaker, before slurring nonsense about the power within they "have to unleash". Things hardly improved when rookie Edge grabbed the mic, ridiculously gurning as he told the world the "unholy trio will become what [we] will become."

The whitewash mercifully ended in a literal bloodbath when the brightly-white suited Michael Hayes dismissed The Brood as nothing but a gimmick. The cleaning bill was probably worth it to put an end to this travesty.
