10 Worst Un-Extreme Matches That Took Place At WWE Extreme Rules

2. Dolph Ziggler Vs. Sheamus - 2015

For a more recent Extreme Rules, the 2015 edition of the show was actually pretty good in terms of stipulation matches.

Steel cage matches, Last Man Standing matches, even a Russian Chain match. Extreme Rules 2015 had it all! Well, except any blood or anything that was actually extreme by the '90s' standards, but that's by-the-by.

One of the other stipulation matches pitted Dolph Ziggler against the recently-returned Sheamus, who had just debuted his new heel persona and, more notably, his mohawk.

On the surface, this match appeared to be a standard singles match and, in essence, it was. The only difference between this match and any other one-on-one bout was that the loser had to kiss the other competitor's rear end. Right.

This "Kiss My Arse" match (get it, because Sheamus is Irish) played out like a regular singles match and only got "extreme" when Ziggler rolled Sheamus up for the win. Sadly for Zigs, this wasn't enough to escape humiliation, because Sheamus refused to kiss Ziggler's butt and instead forced him to kiss his derriere instead. Wrestling is really weird.

Despite having a stipulation, this match was no more extreme than any other contest between these two that you've ever seen. It just had more butts.
